Why ICS? I met up with Tom and we discussed a venture of starting our own rep service business that would alleviate some of the garden associate’s burden of merchandising and caring for live goods in the big box retailer.
What I like most about ICS: I like working with our reps and teaching them what needs to get done in the stores. I gain a great deal of satisfaction when I walk into a store that our reps have just finished servicing. They work so hard to give the customers the best garden shopping experience, and it shows.
Where do you want to be in 2-5 years? I plan to have begun implementing a landscape design and installation program. From the estimate, design, layout, and planting for residential and commercial to the maintenance for commercial accounts. This could be either through garden centers or big box retailers that already offer the service or establish our own program.
