ICS is the Northeast leading provider of service for live products for a major home improvement garden center retailer in over 280 stores in 8 states. The majority of our positions are seasonal and range from 20 – 40 hours per week. All of our associates are paid by direct deposit only. We are currently taking applications for seasonal merchandisers. Qualifications include:

Excellent communication skills
Reliable transportation
Able to work alone (independent most of the times) as well as with others
Able to handle heavy lifting
Work in all weather conditions (rain, snow, hot, cold)

All full time employees work 40 hours per week, more hours available depending on the season. The workweek is Monday-Friday. Saturday is required for the months of April-July. You will be required to travel to a minimum of 2-3 different stores per day.

Servicing plants requires physical work, heavy lifting, good organizational and communication skills. You will be required to work with the store employees, nurseries, and other ICS employees. You’re also responsible for verifying the product is in great condition and priced correctly, which may include making signs, watering plants and keeping a clean working area. Unloading freight from packaging, racking, and/or pallets is also needed to present the customer with the best products through visual merchandising.
